How to publish on Kindle:

Amazon Kindle provides another way for customers to read your book. Sometimes the more options the better. I've personally been surprised to find that sales increased when I added the Kindle book alternative to customers.

The great news is publishing with Kindle Direct Publishing doesn't cost anything other than the time to create the book in the proper format. Additionally, Amazon's Kindle has a new feature that will allow customers to pre-order and pay for books before the release date. You can now upload your book with a projected sales date of up to 90 days in advance.

Customers can pre-order their copies before the book is even published. However, use this only if you have a complete manuscript ready to go. You just need to provide a working manuscript and a final manuscript within a month of the publishing date.

As publisher, you can upload your manuscript to Amazon.com as a Kindle readable book. To do so, first  establish a seller's account so the title, description, ISBN, price, and other information is required. Once uploaded and approved, your book will be listed as available on Kindle.  Publishers can expect a royalty rate of between 35 percent and 70 percent from each Kindle sale.

Each book title and format is unique and should have its own ISBN. Since customers can search for books using ISBN numbers, publish one title with an ISBN for the hardback, one for the paperback, one for each eBook format, another for Amazon.com Kindle, and yet another ISBN for an audio recording. Additionally, you would need an ISBN for significant revisions. It's possible that you could use almost a ten block of ISBNs on one title.

To get started, visit the Amazon Kindle Digital Text Platform registration site at: https://dtp.amazon.com/mn/signin.

Click the "Sign up" button and begin creating your account. Once you complete the information about your publishing company, select "Add a new title."

A new page will open and you can begin submitting your book information. Afterwards, you can upload your book's interior and cover files.

Kindle does require books to be submitted in HTML (use the "Save as" option and select "Web Page" or HTML), Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat. Once upload is complete, you can review and approve the format.

It takes a lot of work to format for Kindle but it may prove worthwhile. Many authors sell more Kindle books than they do print books.

If you like this article, consider getting the book it came from. We also offer it in Kindle.

For a residence class, you will need a classroom or similar environment, curriculum, projector, screen, training aids, certificates and supplies. There is a terrific possib...

World Class Marketing Installation 1-Bone Fides

World class marketing can be easily executed by self publishers and authors. It is one thing to be good at writing, know the self publishing industry and capable of getting books to market. It’s quite another to become recognized as a leader in your niche industry, recruit assistance within industry and become recognized for the good work. In the second example, your efforts perpetuate themselves as you earn trust; others become force multipliers and quickly engage and support your vision. One way to ensure such success is to cross product market. One way to do that is through professional branding. Of itself branding is not the answer to instant success, but does complete the picture. For example, there are many authors who are very influential and well respected; their work stands alone. Cross product marketing for them would continue to demonstrate their dedication to their industry, technical competence and leadership. When you achieve a recognizable brand, such that your...

How will you publish your book

You can publish your book yourself, or publish with others. There are so many options available depending on how much work you want to put into the process. Writing a book is a great experience that can help you further your business opportunities. Publishing with it’s many requirements and resources could prove to be more work than you want to do, especially if writing is not our primary business.   Self-publishing provides an increasingly valuable method of getting information to your audience. With self-publishing, you can write, outsource the printing, and market your book while controlling the process. This type of publishing can be done with very little money up front and, if done right, creates a great source of revenue. If you plan to self-publish, you will need some basic items and information. Books should have copyright protection and each book sold through distribution channels will need International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN). However, with Kindle Direct Publ...
